BRANDON SANDEFUR

Brandon Sandefur is a Houston‑native, singer‑songwriter whose career blends Texas roots, Nashville craftsmanship, and decades of authentic country storytelling. A graduate of Sam Houston State University and former All‑Conference linebacker, Brandon transitioned from the grid iron to the stage after college, joining the Texas band A Little Bit of Texas becoming a fixture on the state’s dance‑hall circuit. In 1996, he moved to Nashville and signed a publishing and production deal with Cotton Eyed Joe Publishing, followed by an artist deal with Underground Country. His album Walking Backwards produced two breakout video singles—“Now You’re Tonkin’” and “Right Between the Lies”—both of which landed in the GAC Top 10. The title track later became an international line‑dance hit, featured on a compilation by famed
choreographer Robbie McGowan and accumulating nearly half a million downloads across the US, Europe and Asia. It remains Brandon’s most requested song to this day.

Throughout his career, Brandon has shared stages with country legends including Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Merle Haggard, Tanya Tucker, and Charlie Daniels, and has performed at iconic Nashville venues such as The Bluebird Café, Wildhorse Saloon, Legends Corner and Roberts Western World. Now based in Pensacola, Florida after 23 years outside Nashville, Brandon continues to write, perform, and bring his smooth, rich, modern‑meets‑traditional country sound to
audiences along the Gulf Coast.
